The below items are available for download.
Comments and suggestions are welcome. Also, while I use them myself, I do not
guarantee these files to be error free. If you find any errors, please let me
know so that I can correct them for the next revision.
Note that these
files were made in Excel 2000, and though some of the formatting tricks might
not work as planned in earlier versions, the formulas should work fine back to
Excel 97. (Excel 95 has shown some significant problems, and is not
recommended).
Also, the best
way to download these files without your browser trying to display them (and
sometimes requiring a password), is to RIGHT CLICK
on the link, and choose SAVE TARGET AS....
Then you can select the folder to save the file in, and should experience no
problems.

your PDF results. This info will be fed directly into Automagic.

AUTOMINISTER Team Data File
AUTOMINISTER TEAM DATA FILE:
( v1.23, June 7th, 2005 )
- AutoMinister
will help all team members, but will be especially useful for team captains
and market coordinators.
- XML Data Importing: AutoMinister
obtains data like AutoMagic, by importing XML files. However, since AutoMinister
is a TEAM data file, it requires access to your entire team's XML files, (or
as many as you can obtain).
- STANDARD FEATURES:
- ECONOMY: AutoMinister
collates the team's economic data, including commodities, taxes, and deficit/surplus
for all allied nations.
- CHARACTERS: AutoMinister
collects data on all friendly characters, and such enemy character data
as is available in the XML files. You can add your own notes to this,
which will be retained from turn-to-turn.
- ARTIFACTS:
AutoMinister also collects data on all artifact info available in the
XML files, (which means only artifacts CURRENTLY POSSESSED by friendly
characters. But just like the character info, you can add your own notes
to this, which will be retained from turn-to-turn.
- RUMORS:
AutoMinister filters all the nation messages and displays only those most
important ones. Rumors about friendly character actions are filtered out,
leaving only the more relevant ones.

4th AGE NATION SETUP ASSIST
FILES
MePBM
4th AGE NATION SETUP ASSIST FILE: (Rev 2006.a9, 05/14/2006 - Compressed
~200 KB)
This file is called Setups_NEW_a9.zip,
and is a compressed (zip) file.
Each of the 3 files contained in this zip file is similar, but one is for
the North Kingdom setup, one is for the South Kingdom setup, and the last is the
generic Nation setup file. Each of these files will automate much of your nation
setup work, and include:
- Nation Setup Sheets that look very similar to MeGames
new Nation Setup Sheet, and so can be printed out.
- A Setup Sheet that you can copy/paste into an E-Mail containing the NEW pre-setup info.
- An E-Mail sheet that converts the Nation
Setup info into a plain-text friendly format, so that you can E-Mail your
setups directly to MeGames.
- Various useful setup info in non-printing
notes.
EASY-VIEW MAPS
These are maps I made up in a format I find
easier to read, and more legible when printed on 8.5 x 11 inch (letter size)
paper. I've been asked several times, (by allies in 4th Age games), to provide
these to the public, so here they are. (1650 and 2950 maps will be coming in the
future.)
NOTE: These are for your information and
enjoyment. I DO NOT guarantee their accuracy, nor do I intend them to be
"official" play aids for MePBM, so there won't be any revision
numbers. If you find inaccuracies, please bring them up to my attention and I'll
simply fix the files.
Map
Icon file: (GIF file ~ 6KB) PC & Improvement Icons for use
when editting the maps, (ie; copy/pasting).
4th
Age MAP: (GIF file ~ 198KB) This is a BLANK 4th Age map, showing
Twin Kingdom starting PC locations, strategic PCs, and locations "not available
at game start" for PC placement.
Battle
Of Five Armies MAP: (GIF file ~36KB) - This is the map cut down
to represent just the BOFA area and starting PCs.
MePBM Regional Map
Middle-earth
Regional Map: (GIF file ~ 33KB) I made this map mainly for 4th
Age game setups. The map divides Middle-earth into 18 regions (2 of which are
the 5-hex exclusion zones that belong to the twin kingdoms). This might be useful
for any fiction you may wish to write for your games, or for dividing up locations
for nation setups in grudge games, variant scenarios, etc.
Thanks,
